Recap: The First Optimove Connect

On 29 July 2015, we hosted a first-of-its-kind retention marketing conference in Tel-Aviv, Optimove Connect. Bringing together experts from industry and academia, the conference presented a wealth of information on the art and science of customer retention.

Our goals were to raise awareness of the importance of retention marketing, to share proven practical advice and best practices, and to encourage fruitful discussion and debate among presenters and attendees alike.

It was a very successful event, with more than 250 attendees. Here are some thoughts that attendees shared with us following the event:

Opening Remarks

Amit Bivas, Optimove’s Head of Marketing, kicked things off with an overview of the day’s agenda and took the opportunity to thank all the attendees and sponsors.

Panel: Engaging Customers in the Era of Marketing Overload

Varda Tirosh, Optimove’s Chief Customer Officer, moderated a panel of industry heavyweights who discussed ways to break through the noise of marketing overload. The panelists were Lee Cohen, VP Marketing at Luckyfish, Arnon Keshet, Head of CRM at Stockpair, Ofer Kinberg, EVP Slotomania at Playtika, and Oren Kosover, VP Marketing at Netbet.

Keynote: The True Value of a Lost Customer

Barak Libai, professor of Marketing at the Arison School of Business, shared his research findings about the true costs of losing a customer.

Roundtables with Optimove Experts

Optimove: Past, Present, and Future

Pini Yakuel, Optimove’s CEO, regaled the audience with the founding lore of Optimove. Moving on to the present, Pini described what we’re up to, how we do what we do, and the core strengths that enable us to deliver on the promise we make to our customers. Looking ahead to the future, Pini gave attendees a first look at the next level of intelligent automation we’re building into Optimove.

Keynote: CRM as a Strategic Advantage

Gigi Levi-Weiss, investor and former CEO of 888, shared numerous insights and strategies for growth-stage companies based on his extensive experience in the high-tech world.

Closing Remarks

Alon Tvina, Optimove’s Chief Commercial Officer, closed out the day with an overview of the themes covered. Being customer-centric and moving fast will keep a brand on the cutting-edge of customer marketing and retention.

The Future of Optimove Connect
