We are looking for a “Ninja” to join our talented Operations team – an energetic self-starter and problem-solver with outstanding technical skills, and interested in growing and learning from the best.

The Operations Engineer is a member of our global operations team that is responsible for 24x7x365 uptime and the availability of our services under management. This is a senior-level position, and members of this team are expected to contribute to the continued development of our automation tools and procedures. 



  • Be an Optimove technical expert. Understand deployment patterns and all configurations that support these patterns.
  • Leads the review of hybrid systems or technical services to identify risks, optimize opportunities, and makes recommendations to leadership based on findings
  • Establishes and executes monitoring processes and procedures of applications and holistic infrastructure to identify risks and troubleshoot problems using SLI/SLO and other SRE-type methodologies.
  • Acts as a technical subject matter expert in the resolution of outages or high priority incidents
  • Champion/implement new ideas and ways to improve development delivery, document design approach, and engage stakeholders to drive implementation
  • Develop, implement, and execute disaster recovery procedures
  • Create design specifications and demonstrate solutions with detailed documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, and charts.
  • Acts as a subject matter expert for Cloud Operations, hybrid systems, and/or software to support DevOps and R&D activities
  • Create robust and scalable knowledge transfer processes

  • 2-4 years of experience in customer-facing technical support/operations in global companies working with enterprise-grade customers
  • Excellent technical troubleshooting skills and an ability to learn new technologies in-depth.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of SQL.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Internals and/or Linux configuration and management, troubleshooting issues relating to OS and/or software services using OS resources. The requirement is strong experience with one OS, and solid familiarity with the other.
  • Knowledge & experience working with production systems, in a cloud environment (Preferably GCP) or on-premise
  • Troubleshooting knowledge in containers and Kubernetes


Desired Experience with:

  • Experience managing and configuring complex multi VPC, multi-region, multi-cloud network architectures
  • Basic programming knowledge in any language as well as Command-line utilities such as bash, grep, ssh, PowerShell, etc. Version control systems such as git and Monitoring tools such as Data Dog
  • Infrastructure-as-a-Code (IaaC) methodologies with automation frameworks like Ansible, Terraform, Vault, Consul, and CI/CD tooling
  • Azure DevOps for issue tracking
  • Agile software methodologies such as SCRUM and Kanban
  • Understanding of networking terminologies and functionality such as DNS, Http, ports, etc
